NON IONIZING RADIATION TESTS

The laboratory provides non-ionizing radiation measurement services performed by a tester certified by the Ministry of Environmental Protection. The permit is given for the provision of a service for the measurement of non-ionizing radiation in the field of electrical grid frequencies (ELF). Radiation is measured in radio stations, cellular communications, microwave communications, satellites, and radar stations, and in personal communication equipment, mobile phones and cellular devices, and so on.

Any deviation from the acceptable standards can lead to significant health hazards: exposure to high intensity radiation may cause the warming of body tissues, affect the functioning of physiological systems such as nerves, and the communication and metabolism between cells and nerves, and may be a possible cause of cancer (according to IARC).
